I enjoy being a part of the process in creating a student-friendly interface for Degree Explorer and ACORN. I recommend joining because I feel students' voices are heard. The designers actively want to listen to all of my feedback on what works and what can be improved.

It's fun to get involved and help build a service that an entire community of students use. Also, it's almost kind of like a sneak peak into what's changing with the ACORN and other services!

The Advisory Team process ran exceptionally smoothly for me and taught me more about the features on ACORN. Being involved was also rewarding as I felt I had a voice when providing feedback.

I’ve been participating with the Advisory Team ever since my second year and I’ve had a great experience! The tasks and testing are engaging, easy to follow, and the interesting new features keep me coming back.

Volunteering with the Student Advisory Team has allowed me to improve ACORN to better suit students’ needs. I was able to provide honest feedback on proposed designs such as the Financial Planning Calculator and accessible page where scholarships can be found. The team is extremely friendly!
